My view on therapy is very simple, though not always easy: through healthy relationships we can heal. I know this because I've done it. This is reflected in how I show up to session every day and the work that we do together. Many of the barriers that hold us back come from difficulty showing self-compassion and inner acceptance, and my role is to support and guide our individuality to pave the road moving forward. I enjoy bringing creativity into therapy, as it truly allows the personality to shine through, highlighting the uniqueness of all of us, and committing further with intention, to our true and beautiful selves.
As each client’s individual needs will be unique, so will the therapeutic interventions utilized in session. Some interventions that may be used include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Person-Centered, Structual Dissociation, Attachment, Trauma-Informed, and Shame-Resiliency.
With 13 years in the aviation industry, I have a unique and highly developed understanding of the needs specific to aviation professionals. I take the utmost care to ensure I am able to accommodate scheduling changes, anonymity, and respect for certification requirements.
